Richard Johnson takes the ride on Crossley Tender at Ascot to Finnish 3rdin the Matchbook Best Odds Handicap Chase. Once again Crossley put in a great performance althought he did make a couple of slight errors, Richard felt the track was plenty fast enough and so just put his jumping under a bit of pressure.

Doitforthevillage started the New Year with a bang, winning at Sandown Park only a day after turning 12 years old. Tom O'brien rode Doit to his first win in just over two years, aided by a combination of favourable conditions, further trip and excellent performance. George leads Tom and Doit to the winners enclosure |  Doit looks happy with himself! |
It'll be another couple of weeks before he's fit to race ride, but it was great to see him back in the saddle and we wish him a full recovery!
