We had a bit of rain and the ground had eased a little, so Tom O'brien and Sean Houlihan popped in to school a few. All schooled well.

Brian Hughes rode Vinnie to come a good second. Brian was up handy or leading for most of the race but was frustrated for much of it by the loose horse who finally cut across him at the third last as the race quickened, Vinnie went from leading to sixth in one go, unfortunately in regaining his position he used up a lot of petrol but still managed to finish a good second.

Josh Moore did a brilliant job of leading for start to finish on Storm Hill. After his first run at Newbury, where he was very keen thoughout the race, Nick Schofield advised to let him bowl along in front, he was dead right and the tactics worked well.
Josh jumped him off infront and and controlled the race on a much more relaxed Storm Hill.

Winning the Virgin Bet Handicap Hurdle, the biggest race on the card.
Harry had never ridden for us before but was pleased he came down to Fontwell for his only ride of the day.
Bob was prominent and leading for most of the race until he met a gluey bit of ground at the bottom of the back straight where he was headed and dropped to around 6th coming into the home straight. Harry got after him and Bob responded and showed great resolve to rally and get up after the last.

It was a wet old day at Fontwell and Tom O'Brien did well to get Maasai Warrior home in third in ground that would of not suited him.
Maasai won two chases last year but on better ground and as all my horses just need the run which therefore bears well for the rest of his season.

Small Bad Bob wins the Visit attheraces.com/marketmovers Handicap Hurdle(Class 3) 2m1½f
Another great ride by Tom to bring home a winning performance by Small Bad Bob.
Tom was up with the leaders from the stars and Bob’s slick jumping enabled him to maintain his position up the inner, as they came down the back straight and Small Bad Bob jumped the last over the back he was pretty much the only horse left on the bridal. Tom and Bob asserted from the second last to win by five lengths.
